The Alien Life Cycle
The Alien species (or 'xenomorphs' as they have come to
be called) is a very mysterious, yet deadly species. Their origins are unknown, and while
many aspects of their life cycle are known to some degree, there is still much to be learned.
Below are the five major stages of the Alien life cycle.
Although these are the recorded life cycles of the Aliens,
other forms of alien manefestation have been observed through genetic mutations. Genetic tampering
has yielded new and diverse forms of the xenomorph species. One incident involved the crossing
of human DNA with that of the aliens onboard the USS Auriga. How the behavior of genetically
altered aliens compares with that of pure breeds still requires much experimentation.
