Network card	Troubleshooting	I can't contact a remote computer via my network card although local network functions work.	Pinging 127.0.0.1 will return a valid PING providing that TCP/IP is installed because it does not transmit any packets to the interface, it is purely an internal loopback test. You have to ping a remote address to test the interface.
